About This Project

Guy Drew is an innovator and outstanding winemaker. The quality of his wines rivals some of the best producers in well known viticultural areas. Which is surprising to many because his vineyards are located in the obscure Cortez/Four Corners area of southwestern Colorado. Coordinating with the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board, we worked with Guy to translate and fine tune his brand communication and label design for Baco Noir, a new product introduction. The wine is a unique hybrid varietal scarcely planted, but big, full-bodied and complex. It deserved a bold look to complement its taste and to seed its mission of changing prevailing attitudes towards hybrid wines.
